Forensic Club
Students in grades five through eight have an opportunity to participate in forensic competitions. Forensics consists of three separate events. The first event is a reading, the second the delivery of a speech, and the third is delivery of a speech the student has written. All of the events are limited by time- a three minute minimum and a seven minute maximum. Students compete against other students from area public and parochial schools. There is judging of all students in a first round event. Finalists are selected and compete in a second round. Trophies are awarded for the first three place winners in both junior and varsity levels. Finalists trophies are awarded to all other competitors in the final round. The first competition, Interpretative Reading, will be held at St. Joseph School on November 6 beginning at 3:15 P.M. You are invited to join us.
