Faith Formation Overview and Registration
The St. Joseph Religious Education program is comprised of a community of students, catechists and their helpers, parents, and clergy. The group is united with genuine love and concern for the purpose of religious formation. The parish staff and catechists strive to provide a safe and quality Christian environment in which the students can grow in the knowledge and practice of the Catholic faith. Nurtured by the sacraments and inspired by the Word of God as proclaimed in Holy Scripture, we focus to proclaim the message of Jesus.

The intention of the religious education program is to:

Support parents in their role as primary educators.

Teach the works of Jesus Christ, our Savior and model of Christian life.

Develop a strong sense of belonging to the parish family, as evidenced by participation in weekly Mass and other parish celebrations.

Prepare families for their children’s first reception of the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.

Work with youth to prepare spiritually and doctrinally for the Sacrament of Confirmation while developing a habit of service to others and a commitment to worship and community.
